Photos: Eastview Baseball Two-Hits Lakeville South in 5-1 Victory

Lightning pitcher Adam Moorse dominated the Cougars as Eastview claimed a 5-1 conference victory on Wednesday.

Eastview pitcher Adam Moorse's two-hitter and outfielder Scott Larson's two-run home run highlighted the Eastview baseball team's 5-1 defeat of visiting Lakeville South in a South Suburban Conference battle on a sunny Wednesday afternoon.

The Lightning took the lead for good at 2-1 when third baseman Patrick Strey's infield single scored Alec DesLaurier-Knop in the bottom of the fifth inning on Eastview's 10th hit of the game.

Larson's two-run homer all but solidified the game for Eastview as it soared over the right field wall in the bottom of the sixth inning. To end the game, Matthew Galloway dove for a catch in right field, also catching a South runner off first base; he fired to first baseman Evan Decovich for the final out.
