Eastview Legion Baseball Advances To District 3 Title Game

The Thunder will face Burnsville for a berth in next week's state tournament.

The Eastview American Legion baseball team defeated Stillwater 9-2 on Friday to earn a spot in the District 3 tournament championship game.

The Thunder will face Burnsville at 1 p.m. Saturday at Alimagnet Park in Burnsville, with the winner advancing to next week's state tournament.

The loser will face either West St. Paul or Eagan for a runner-up spot in the section and a state tournament berth.

Eastview enters the game with a 25-6 record. It would be their second consecutive trip to the state tournament.
