Eastview Legion Baseball Advances To Face Northfield In District Play

The Thunder will face Northfield at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Dundas.

The Eastview American Legion baseball team advanced in the District 3 tournament with an 11-1 win over Hastings on Wednesday in Dundas.

The win sets up a matchup with Northfield, the No. 7 seed in the tournament, on Thursday in Dundas. First pitch is set for 7:30 p.m.

Northfield advanced in the tournament thanks to a 14-4 win over Waconia on Wednesday.

Three teams from District 3 will advance to the state tournament next weekend. Eastview, which entered the tournament as the No. 2 seed, is three wins away from winning the district tournament.
