Eastview entered the first full week of September with a spotless 3-0 record and hosts dangerous Bloomington Kennedy in the Lightning’s first home game of the South Suburban Conference schedule.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Matthew Gweh had a team-high four goals through Eastview’s first three games, while the Lightning’s goaltending tandem of Treston Kederer and Sam Ruelas stopped 10 of the 11 shots they have faced in the early goings.

LIGHTNING WIN IF…

They continue to play at a pace that had them outscoring their opponents 9-1 through their first three games.

EAGLES WIN IF...

Kennedy has a chance if it can score more than one goal, something Eastview had yet to allow entering the week.
