This is the second game of the South Suburban Conference schedule for both teams and both are looking for a win of substance. Rosemount entered the week with a 3-1 record built with wins against less-than traditional powers—including the International School of Minnesota. North built a perfect 4-0 record in the pre-conference schedule, yet against teams that were a combined 4-9-3 entering the week.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
North’s Gracia Bonesho and Simone Kolander had three goals apiece entering the week, while goalkeeper Alexis Joyce had nine saves on 10 shots faced over the pre-conference schedule.
Rosemount’s Hannah Halterman led her team with four goals entering this week, followed by teammate Jessica Priest with three goals.
IRISH WIN IF…
They out-shoot the Panthers at a 5.5-1 clip they way they had their first four opponents. Rosemount took 99 shots through its first four games, if that trend continues, some balls are bound to go in.
PANTHERS WIN IF...
Their odds will improve greatly if they are able to reverse a two-year trend and score a goal on Rosemount. North has not scored on the Irish since 2008, logging a scoreless tie and a 2-0 loss.
