Photos: Eastview Legion Baseball Splits Double Header With Eagan
Eagan won the first game 10-5, while Eastview came back to win the second game 7-3.
Eastview appeared a little flat in the first game of a double header against Eagan on a hot, humid morning at the Quarry Point ball field.
The game started out with both teams hitting the ball well. But a big rally by Eagan in the fourth inning put the score at Eagan 10, Eastview 3. Eastview brought in a new pitcher, and the infielders and outfielders started to work together to stop the Eagan offense. Eastview scored two more runs in the later innings, but it wasn’t enough to recover. The final score of the first game was Eagan 10 and Eastview 5.
Eastview recovered and defeated Eagan in the second game, 7–3. The Eastview Thunder end their season with a record of 22-6.
