The Eastview Lightning brought their running game, passing game, and defensive game and stunned the Rosemount Irish 49-13 in the Section semi-final game on Saturday night at Rosemount.
Someone forgot to let the Eastview team know that they were not picked to win in their game against Rosemount. The Eastview team did everything right throughout the game and crushed the Rosemount offense and defense.
Eastview scored with 1:07 on the clock in the 1st quarter with a 4 yard run up the middle by LeAndre Kennedy. The extra point, and all other attemps in the game, was successful by Eastview kicker Sam Fluegge. The score was 7-0 Eastview ahead.
Eastview scored with 10:09 on the clock in the 2nd quarter witha run by Eric Krupke, making the score 14-0 Eastview leading.

Eastview scored again with 5:54 on the clock with a bouncing 5 yard run by LeAndre Kennedy to make the score 21-0 Eastview on top.
The Irish finally made it on the board with a hard run by Andy Gustafson from the 4 yard line, making the score 21-7 Eastview leading.

Eastview's Eric Krupke scored with 9:18 on the clock in the 3rd quarter, and again with 5:00 on the clock in the 3rd quarter, making the score 35 - 7 Eastview ahead.
Rosemount scored a TD on a long pass to Salih Mohamed with 4:32 on the clock in the 3rd, but missed the extra point. Score 35 - 13 Eastview on top.
Eastview scored on a long pass to wide receiver Adam Moorse with 2:56 on the clock in the 3rd quarter, making the score 42-13 Eastview lead.
