Spring baseball is here as the Rosemount Irish take the field for their home opener.
The baseball team took the field for their 2012 opener on Tuesday. The Irish downed Park 8-3.
Some highlights from Coach Chris Swansson: Jordan Tumilson pitched 5 1/3 innings and struck out 7. Matt Nelson hit a 3 run double. Nate Lemoine was 2-3 with a triple and 2 stolen bases. Joe Waite and Morris Valenzuala also each had two hits and two RBI’s in the game.
