Rosemount Baseball Falls 5-2 to Lakeville North
The Rosemount Irish lost 5-2 to Lakeville North Thursday afternoon.
On a cold and windy Thursday afternoon, the Rosemount Irish baseball team hosted the Lakeville North Panthers. The Irish fought back from an early 2-0 deficit to tie the game in the third but eventually gave up 3 more runs to lose 5-2.
The scoring for Rosemount came when Joe Waite doubled in the third inning to drive in two runs for Rosemount. In the fifth inning Lakeville added a run while Rosemount left the bases loaded.
Lakeville again scored in the sixth off of two doubles to put them up 5-2. Jordan Tumilson of Rosemount receives the loss while Tyler Brekke who pitched all 7 innings earned the win for Lakeville.
Rosemount's next game will be on April 27 against Eagan.
