Section Play Starts Wednesday for Apple Valley, Eastview Girls Hockey

Apple Valley is seeded No. 3 and Eastview No. 5 in section 3AA.

Girls hockey section play kicks off Wednesday for Apple Valley and Eastview high schools' teams.

is seeded No. 3 in section 3AA, and will take on No. 6-seeded Rosemount at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Apple Valley Sports Arena. Last year, the Eagles .

is seeded No. 5 in the section and will take on Hastings at the Hastings Civic Arena at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Last year, Eastview . Eagan is the No. 1 seed this year.

Apple Valley and Eastview both finished 6-10-1 in the South Suburban Conference this year.
