The Rosemount girls soccer team prepared itself for the final week of the regular season with a victorious Thursday, while the Irish volleyball team was defeated by a ranked South Suburban Conference opponent.

A 3-1 defeat of North St. Paul at home improved the Rosemount girls soccer team to 10-3-1 overall this season.

Jana Elliott scored twice and Kaylie Hanson once for the Irish in the win, as the squad improved to 4-2-1 in South Suburban play with two conference games remaining.
Rosemount is scheduled to host No. 8 Eastview at 5 p.m. Tuesday and 7 p.m. Thursday at No. 7 Eagan.

Volleyball
The Rosemount girls volleyball team lost 3-0 to fourth-ranked Lakeville South at home on Thursday to fall to 5-6 overall and 0-4 in the SSC.
Natalie Busher leads the Irish with 107 kills, as does Jaclyn D'amico with 323 assists and Katie Duff with 24 service aces.
Girls Tennis
A 7-0 shutout of Bloomington Jefferson wrapped up the Rosemount girls tennis team's regular season with a 13-2 record. Individual statistcs were not available.
