State, Section Sports Schedules for Apple Valley, Eastview This Week

State and section tournaments are in full swing for and high school sports teams this week. Here are their schedules so you can go out and cheer them on.

STATE

• No. 1 Eastview boys soccer faces Rochester Mayo High School at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Park High School in Cottage Grove. If they win, tournament play continues Nov. 1 at the Metrodome.

• The Eastview girls soccer team goes up against Centennial High School at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Park High School in Cottage Grove. If they win, tournament play continues next Monday at the Metrodome.

SECTION

Football

• Apple Valley football plays Bloomington Kennedy at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bloomington Stadium in the first round of the section 3AAAAA tournament.

• Eastview football plays at home against Burnsville at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Volleyball

• Apple Valley volleyball hosts Academy of Holy Angels in the first round of the section 3AAA tournament at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

• Eastview volleyball will play Park High School (Cottage Grove) at home at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Cross Country

• The Apple Valley and Eastview boys and girls cross country teams run in the section 3AA meet at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday at the University of Minnesota's golf course.
