Apple Valley Farmers Market Opening for 2013 Season on June 15
One sure sign of summer, the Apple Valley Farmers Market, will return on June 15.
The Apple Valley Farmers Market will be back in its old digs at the Apple Valley Municipal Center parking lot starting June 15 this year.
Last month, the Apple Valley City Council approved a resolution that will allow the farmers market to hold weekly sales from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. The market, which is operated by the St. Paul Growers' Association, will run through Oct. 26, 2013. The growers association also operates farmers markets in a number of metro communities, including Inver Grove Heights and West St. Paul.
