Patch Match: Kids 'n Kinship Seeks Mentors for Youth

Each week, Rosemount Patch will post the profile of a child on the waiting list for a mentor with Kids 'n Kinship, an Apple Valley-based organization that matches kids with adult mentors throughout Dakota County.

Interests: Jordan is really interested in cars of all kinds.  He also likes football, basketball and hockey.   

Personality/Characteristics: Jordan is friendly, active and could teach a mentor how to run really fast.

Looking For: Jordan would like a couple or individual male mentor who likes sports and might want to go to Valleyfair

For More Information: This child is one of 57 children currently waiting for a mentor through Kids ‘n Kinship, a private non-profit serving Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, Farmington, Lakeville and Rosemount in Dakota County for 39 years. If you're interested in becoming a mentor, you're invited to attend an information session on Aug. 18, 6-6:45 p.m. at the Galaxie Library in Apple Valley. Mentors can volunteer as individuals, couples, or families for weekly fun and enriching activities at home or in the community on their own schedules.
