Police say Antenese Scottesia Baker, arrested Tuesday in Washington County, confessed to thefts at stores in a number of Minnesota cities, including Apple Valley.

Antenese Scottesia Baker, 19, is charged in Dakota County with felony theft, which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. The victim told police that Leif Allan Lystrom choked her, stomped on her feet and beat her before raping her.
A Farmington man has been charged with raping an Apple Valley woman after repeatedly assaulting her at her home. Leif Allan Lystrom, 25, is charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct, a felony with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison and a $30,000 fine. According to the criminal complaint, the victim called Apple Valley police just after 3 a.m. Sept. 7 and reported that Lystrom, to whom she referred as her boyfriend, had sexually assaulted her, choked her and repeatedly beaten her, then took all her money and left. When police arrived, they found the victim shaking, crying and having difficulty speaking, the complaint says. Matthew Henry Freeman faces a third-degree criminal sexual conduct charge in Dakota County.
A 29-year-old Apple Valley man faces a sex charge after he allegedly had sex with a 14-year-old whom he met online. Matthew Henry Freeman is charged in Dakota County with third-degree criminal sexual conduct, a felony that holds a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison and a $30,000 fine. According to the criminal complaint, Apple Valley police interviewed a 14-year-old girl, who said she met Freeman in December through video game live-play. She told police they exchanged phone numbers, and that in January they went to a movie together, the complaint says; she told Freeman she was 15 years old. Hue Thao Vang is charged with theft of a vehicle, receiving stolen property and driving after suspension.
A St. Paul man faces charges in Dakota County after police arrested him during a traffic stop related to his suspended driver's license, then found the vehicle he had been driving allegedly was stolen. Hue Thao Vang, 25, is charged with felony theft, felony receiving stolen property and misdemeanor driving after suspension. The maximum combined penalty is 10 years, three months in prison and a $21,000 fine. According to the criminal complaint, an Apple Valley police officer stopped a vehicle with a headlight out around 2:45 a.m. Aug. 18. The driver didn't have identification, but identified himself as Vang, the complaint says. Vang's record showed his driver's license had been suspended and he had 12 missed court appearances since 2007. …
Perry Walter Kalkenbrenner is charged with three counts of making terroristic threats.
A man previously convicted of making threats is again charged after he allegedly tried to go into an Apple Valley movie theater without buying a ticket, told an employee he would write libelous things on the Internet about him and threatened to kill police. Perry Walter Kalkenbrenner, 44, who police say is homeless, is charged in Dakota County with three felony counts of making terroristic threats; the charges hold a maximum combined penalty of 15 years in prison and a $30,000 fine. A man allegedly stole $1,500 of jewelry from the home of an Apple Valley woman he knew, according to a criminal complaint.
A homeless man faces a theft charge after allegedly stealing jewelry from the home of a woman he knew. Damien Ellis, 26, is charged with with felony theft in Dakota County, which holds a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. According to the criminal complaint, Ellis went to the home of the alleged theft victim around 7 a.m. the day she noticed the jewelry was gone. She said after he came over, she left, but when she came back Ellis apparently left abruptly. She told police she found this strange, and checked her jewelry box to find a diamond pendant, men's ring and a pair of earrings missing, the complaint says.
