The cause of the crash is unknown at this time. The Inver Grove Heights Police Department along with the Minnesota State Patrol is continuing to investigate thisincident.
(Update, 6:46 p.m.) Inver Grove Heights police have confirmed that three people died in a crash involving a District 196 school bus and a passenger vehicle. All three victims were inside the vehicle, which caught fire during the crash. The bus driver—who was alone in the bus—emerged from the accident uninjured. The 45-year-old male driver of the motorcycle was taken to Fairview Ridges with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 45-year-old Apple Valley man was taken to the hospital after being involved in a motorcycle-car crash just after noon Tuesday in Apple Valley. His injuried were non-life-threatening, Apple Valley Police Sgt. John Bermel said. Police were called to the scene at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday, where the man's motorcycle and a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old Lakeville woman were involved in a crash just south of the intersection of County Road 42 and Pennock Lane, Bermel said. The man was taken to Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville; there is no further information on the nature of his injuries, Bermel said. Police are investigating the incident.

A 53-year-old Apple Valley man was taken to the hospital Tuesday afternoon with potentially life-threatening injuries after a three-car crash in Apple Valley. At 2:18 p.m. Tuesday, Apple Valley police were notified of a three-car crash at the intersection of Galaxie Avenue and Founders Lane. Officers who responded found the driver and sole occupant of a Toyota Rav 4, the 53-year-old Apple Valley man, had been ejected from the car and was lying in the road. Officers, firefighters and paramedics provided emergency medical services on scene, and the man was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with potentially life-threatening injuries. A 20-year-old Apple Valley woman allegedly hit a wheelchair-bound pedestrian with her car shortly before 2 a.m. Tuesday, near Hiawatha Avenue and East 32nd Street in Minneapolis, according to a Fox 9 news brief and a Minnesota State Patrol report. The 34-year-old pedestrian, who was in critical condition Tuesday morning after the crash and whose name was not released, allegedly was in a crosswalk while the do-not-walk light was illuminated, according to the state patrol report; the car, driven by Kayla E. Hahn, allegedly had a green light to go through the intersection. Hahn received minor injuries, according to the state patrol report. She was not arrested, according to Fox 9.

Troy Wolfgang Bargel, 43, died Thursday at Regions Hospital, after his motorcycle and a pick-up truck collided near Pilot Knob and 157th.
An Eagan man died Thursday after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a pick-up truck in Apple Valley. Troy Wolfgang Bargel, 43, of Eagan, was driving a motorcycle north on Pilot Knob Road in Apple Valley when it collided with the front quarter of a westbound pick-up truck that pulled out for a left turn from the intersection of Pilot Knob and 157th Street West, according to a news release from the Apple Valley Police Department. Police were called at 4:45 p.m. Thursday, the release said. Bargel was airlifted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, where he died later Thursday. A Bloomington man is facing four felony charges after Apple Valley police say he and a friend helped themselves to a parked golf cart during the city’s Freedom Days celebration, crashed it into a tree and then fled the scene. Benjamin Daniel Anderson, 20, is charged with felony theft and felony theft of a motor vehicle, each of which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine, and two felony counts of criminal vehicular operation resulting in substantial bodily harm, each of which carries a maximum penalty of three years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
