Police: Teen Threatened to Post Nude Photos of 15-Year-Old Online
Police say Deuvontay Shelby Charles, 18, told a female female victim he would post the photos on Facebook if she refused to have sex with him.
An 18-year-old Minneapolis teen faces criminal charges after Apple Valley police say he convinced a 15-year-old to send him sexually-explicit photos, then threatened to post the photos online. Deuvontay Shelby Charles was charged with one felony count of solicitation of a child to engage in sexual conduct and one felony count of solicitation of a minor to engage in sexual conduct, according to a criminal complaint filed by the Dakota County Attorney's Office. If convicted on the first charge, he could face a maximum of three years in prison and $5,000 in fines. Apple Valley police were contacted on Jan. 29 and spoke with a 15-year-old girl, who told officers she sent several nude photos of herself to Charles. After receiving the first …
