Davey's a fun, playful, friendly little puppy who likes to follow you wherever you go. He sleeps through the night tucked in with his favorite person.

He will likely top out around 40-45 pounds full grown. He has had his first two sets of puppy shots, has been neutered, dewormed, frontlined, and has a HomeAgain microchip. Davey is being fostered in Lakeville for a 501(c)3 rescue and is doing very well in his foster home. He will need someone home much of the time to continue his training. Annie just passed her basic obedience class.
Editor's note: This is a weekly series called "Pet of the Week" where we feature a companion up for adoption from Dakota County animal rescues. Annie just passed her basic obedience class. Annie is a blend of redbone coon hound and a little pit bull. Her mix of breeds resulted in a beautiful, smart, loving dog who was rescued from a high kill shelter at the last possible moment. She came to us with ribs and hip bones showing at 34 pounds. After some good groceries, she now weighs 55 pounds. Aside from sleeping on her back with all four feet in the air, she loves to play with the resident dog. Games of chase at full speed around the yard, keep my toy away and tossing a ball in the air for catch makes for an entertaining canine. When she …

Amber is an adorable 15-month-old domestic short hair, brown-and-white tabby. She has a totally adorable playful personality, and is still very much a kitten who loves to play, and sleeps cuddled up with the daughter of her foster family every night. Amber is great with cats, dogs and kids, and is friendly and well socialized. Yet she always gets overlooked at adoption events, even though she is adorable and sweet. She just had a full dental done, was vaccinated and spayed. Sammie is estimated to be twelve years old. She enjoys watiching birds at the birdfeeder and checking for squirrels out the window. Tad is a very charming 3 year old beagle mix who weighs in at 36 pounds. He really enjoys going out for walks and playing with other dogs in a fenced in yard. Their mother is a 45 pound shepherd mix and the father is an unknown breed.
These sweet girls were born just four days after their pregnant mother was rescued from an impound. They have been raised in foster for a 501c3 rescue and are very well socialized. They enjoy other dogs and love kids. Their mother is a 45 pound shepherd mix and the father is unknown (although likely a breed with longer fur). It is estimated that they will be approximately 50 pounds full grown.They have been dewormed multiple times, had their first puppy shots, and have HomeAgain microchips.
