CherryBerry Branches Out—Rosemount Location in the Works

CherryBerry continues to blaze a path through the Twin Cities metro area and the rest of the nation, and Rosemount is next.

CherryBerry, a chain of self-serve yogurt bars, is planning to open a new location in a Rosemount stripmall. The chain hopes to open up its fourth south metro yogurt bar in the shopping center close to County Road 42 and Chippendale Ave., which is currently headlined by Cub Foods. The Star Tribune reports that building inspections are already in progress. At present, CherryBerry has 11 locations in the region, but by all accounts, the Oklahoma-based brand has taken Minnesota by storm in 2012. According to a recent article in the Woodbury Bulletin, the franchise is going through a period of rapid expansion, with ambitious plans to open 50 stores in Minnesota in just 18 months. Stream Global Services Opts for Eagan Over Apple Valley for HQ, Call Center Move

On Friday, Hedges confirmed that the call-center company, which employs as many as 30,000 workers worldwide, has signed a lease for 3285 Northwoods Cir., in an office complex northeast of the Eagan Promenade. The company, currently based in Massachusetts, plans to relocate its headquarters and open a call center in Eagan. Hardee's Pegs Apple Valley, Rosemount for Possible New Locations

The nationwide burger chain has targeted locations along County Road 42 for potential new Hardee's restaurants.

When Hardee's announced plans earlier this month to build as many as 59 new locations around the Twin Cities in the next five years, questions remained about where those restaurants would be built. That question appears to have been answered, per the map City Pages posted on its website of planned homes for the burger chain franchises. Two of the targeted spots for new Hardee's restaurants, it appears, are roughly at County Road 42 and Cedar Avenue in Apple Valley and County Road 42 and Highway 3 in Rosemount. Jim Sullivan, head of franchise development with CKE Restaurants, told City Pages the tentative locations—59 in total—have high traffic counts, populations in the 40,000 range, good site visibility and drive-thru access. New McDonald's Opens This Week in Rosemount

The rebuilt fast food outlet has many upgrades compared to the building that was demolished, including two drive-thru lanes.

The restaurant should reopen at 5 a.m. Wednesday, according to an article in the Rosemount TownPages. It's located near Pizza Hut and Dairy Queen on the south side of County Road 42 between Chippendale Avenue West and South Robert Trail. Plans in the Works for New AutoZone Store in Apple Valley

A building permit and site plan for a new, 13,000-square-foot auto accessories store is up for Apple Valley City Council approval on Thursday.

Plans are in the works for a new, 13,000-square-foot building for an AutoZone auto parts and accessories store in Apple Valley. The Apple Valley City Council will be asked to approve plans and a building permit at its 7 p.m. Thursday meeting at the Apple Valley Municipal Center. The Apple Valley Planning Commission approved plans at its meeting last week. The building would be located on the east side of Foliage Avenue and south of County Road 42, near Home Depot and Discount Tire, on about 1.75 acres of land, according to a memo to the planning commission. The other 5.47 acres that was initially combined with the AutoZone land to form a 7.22-acre parcel would be used for future development. Existing streets would provide access to the …
