His two performances tonight and Saturday will be his first major shows in the Twin Cities since he placed third on "The Voice."
Eagan's singing phenom Nicholas David is playing two shows at First Avenue this weekend, his first major Twin Cities performances since winning third place on "The Voice" in December. He'll be bringing more than just experience from the NBC reality singing competition: David will be joined on stage by contestants Melanie Martinez and Todd Kessler (on Friday and Satuday) and by Terry McDermott and Trevin Hunte (just on Saturday). "It brought me to tears," Nicholas David recalled to an enraptured audience at the church Thursday afternoon. "I saw that you guys were praying. At first, nobody in the coffee shop paid much attention to the young musician with a little keyboard and long hair, Eddy remembered.
