Rosemount Accepting Applications for City Commissions
Positions are open on Planning, Parks and Recreation and Utility commissions.
The City of Rosemount is seeking residents to serve as members of its advisory commissions. There are two openings on the Planning Commission, two on the Parks and Recreation Commission and one on the Utility Commission. The City Council will interview candidates and make appointments. All Commission terms begin April 1. Commissioners receive a $35 stipend for each regular meeting they attend. Regular meeting dates of the month are: The Planning Commission is composed of five members. Among other things, members prepare or amend the city's comprehensive plan and review all development proposals.
