Sarah Kirchner, Neighbor

Five years into her writing career, Sarah has enjoyed a variety of writing topics, from fashion to news to shopping and business issues. Since her schooling at Hamline University in Saint Paul, where she edited the award-winning student newspaper The Oracle, Sarah has written for weeklies, dailies, magazines and online review sites - most notably The Downtown Journal, The Southwest Journal, Southern Minnesota Magazine and the Albert Lea Tribune. In 2008, Sarah returned to Hamline to work in Admissions while still writing the occasional article or review. She also enjoys fashion and event planning, often combining the two and organizing local fashion shows. Sarah is excited to dive back into the journalistic world as part of the Mendota Heights Patch.
