That's the question being addressed March 5 by Dr. Jonathan Foley, director of the University of Minnesota’s Institute on the Environment, as part of the Minnesota Zoo's Our World Speaker Series.

Foley, McKnight Presidential Chair in the Department of Ecology, Evolution and Behavior, will talk about innovative solutions to the dilemma, a subject he's uniquely qualified to discuss. His work focuses on the sustainability of civilization and the global environment.  Foley is a regular advisor to governments and large corporations around the world.

The lecture, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., takes place in the zoo's Target Lecture Center. Admission is free, but preregistration is required. Click on the Minnesota Zoo website for more information.
