Rosemount Patch Seeks Your Letters to the Editor

I hope to publish views from the public regularly.

When people talk to me about Rosemount Patch, they mention our news reporting, our sports coverage and the stories that give readers a glimpse into the lives of their fellow Rosemount residents. But I am also very proud of the many ways Rosemount Patch gives readers a chance to participate in the conversation.

Folks share photographs, write guest columns and create announcements and events.  There are comments posted on stories here and on our Rosemount Patch Facebook page. Every day I receive calls and emails from people with suggestions and feedback about our stories.

There is another way you can get involved, and I want you to consider this your official invitation.

Consider writing a letter to the editor.

We are looking for letters of no more than 300 words, on any local topic that is of importance to you. From the condition of a local street to your thoughts on the future of Rosemount, we want to hear from you.

All submissions should include your full name, address and telephone number for verification purposes. Send them to me at rick.ellis@patch.com with the subject line "letter to the editor" or "guest column." You can include relevant photographs with your message if you're so inclined, but that's completely optional.
