The annual Apple Valley Home and Garden Show—put on by the Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce—is set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the in Apple Valley.
Nearly 5,000 people attended last year's event. And you can even bring the kids— animals, fire trucks and arts and crafts projects will be available on site for their entertainment.
Apple Valley Chamber President Ed Kearney last year spoke with Apple Valley Patch about the show, and called it "the place to be whether you’re thinking of taking on a big home project or a small one." Having competing vendors at the same event can result in good value for consumers, he said.
