Archiver’s, Scrapbooking Company With Apple Valley Store, Files For Chapter 11

The Golden Valley-based company, which has a store in Apple Valley, has been hurt by the recession and increasing use of technology.

Archiver's, the Golden Valley-based scrapbooking store with a location in Apple Valley has filed a reorganization plan under Chapter 11, KSTP reported.

The company told KSTP that the recession and the increased use of technology have made things difficult but that the company isn't going out of business.

"The result has been a sharp decline in the purchase of scrapbook and memory craft products, the core of our business," the company wrote in a statement. "So, we must recognize the changing needs of our customers and adapt accordingly.”
