Eagle Court of Honor

SIX RECEIVE EAGLE. Troop
508 in Apple Valley will award five Apple Valley Scouts the rank of Eagle Scout
at a court of honor on April 30 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints in Burnsville. Taylor will have his court of honor in the summer. Besides
their participation in scouts, these amazing young men are also heavily
involved extracurricular activities. In addition, those in high school also
attend a 6 am religion class every morning before school.


Bryant Ruff, 14, 8th grader at Falcon Ridge Middle School, organized and

hosted a kids' biathlon for 50 children ages 5-12. He is on the cross country


and track teams and plays saxophone in the jazz band.

Scotty Pugmire, 17, senior at EVHS,  built a storage shed to hold lacrosse equipment for Eastview High School.  He played varsity football and is on the varsity lacrosse team as well.

Steven Stotts, 17, junior at AVHS, restored trails and rebuilt abridge at Alimagnet Park in Apple Valley. He runs track and cross country and is involved in theater and music.
Taylor Peterson, 15, a freshman at EVHS, built bat houses for the Minnesota Zoo. He participates in the Robotics Program.
Brigham Villanueva, 16, sophomore at EVHS, held a book drive for two needy schools in his native Philippines. He participates in theater and music.
Gerritt Graham, 17, junior at AVHS, Cleared emergency trails at the Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve. He is involved in Robotics.
