Man Arrested for Allegedly Driving Zamboni Drunk at Hayes Park Arena in Apple Valley

The man has three drunken driving convictions on his record, according to media reports.

A 34-year-old man was arrested on Monday night for allegedly driving a Zamboni while drunk, according to media reports. Formal charges have not been filed.

were called to around 8 p.m. Monday, according to the reports, after people at the arena reported that the man, a part-time arena employee, was driving the Zamboni erratically.

Police reported that he smelled like alcohol and was walking unsteadily; according to the reports, he was arrested after failing field sobriety tests.
