Apple Valley City Council to Talk Cobblestone Development, $4M in Bonds

The council also will announce the dates of the concerts in Kelley Park this summer.

The Apple Valley City Council again will hear about plans for the Cobblestone Lake South Shore residential development at its Thursday meeting, scheduled for 8 p.m. at the Apple Valley Municipal Center.

The Apple Valley Planning Commission and the council have heard presentations about the development, the 11 acres south of Cobblestone Lake slated for more residential properties; developers proposed creating slightly larger-than-planned single-family properties, rather than properties for the townhomes that are currently less in demand among developers, Assistant City Planner Tom Lovelace said at the last planning commission meeting.

Setting dates for the summer concerts in Kelley Park and issuing $4 million in bonds also are on the agenda.
