Dakota County Board Meeting Tuesday
Board meets at Government Center in Hastings.
The Dakota County Board of Commissioners will hold their regular meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Boardroom (third floor) at the Administration Center in Hastings.
Among the items on Tuesday's agenda are:
- Execution of the 2010-2012 labor agreement with the Dakota County Attorney Employees' Association.
- Execution of the 2010-2011 labor agreement with the Law Enforcement Labor Services Licensed Supervisors unit.
- Approval of amendments to the community development block grant program.
- Authorization for "quick take" condemnation of right-of-way on county project 5-41 in Burnsville.
- Termination of the county's contract with Mead & Hunt for "evaluation of Byllesby Dam spillway capacity upgrade alternatives."
- Authorization to sign a contract with Montgomery Watson Harza for engineering and design of those spillway modifications.
- Receipt of a Radiological Emergency Preparedness Grant from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
- Approval of 2012 Dakota County Emergency Operations Plan.
- Amending the contract with Ramsey County for boarding of Dakota County Jail inmates.
- Proclamation of "Law Day" on May 1.
- Approval of applications for 3.2 percent malt liquor licenses for the Minnesota Scottish Fair and Highland Games, Belwood Oaks and Woody's Pump N Munch.
- Appointments to fill two vacancies on the Human Services Advisory Committee.
- Authorization of a "one-stop" permits system for Dakota County municipalities.
- Presentation of 2012 Public Health Achievement Awards to Natasha Sinha, Jack Olwell and the Red Pine Elementary School Health and Fitness Committee.
