Greg Clausen Defeats Mike Germain in Primary for Senate District 57 DFL Spot

Clausen was endorsed by the Senate District 57 DFL and will appear on the November general election ballot.

In Minnesota Senate District 57, will move on to the November ballot as the DFL candidate, facing Republican Pat Hall.

Clausen, who was the endorsed DFL candidate, defeated Mike Germain in Tuesday's primary, receiving 78.66 percent of the vote to Germain's 21.34 percent in 26 precincts located in Apple Valley, Rosemount, Coates and Lakeville.

District 57 includes all of , the Town of Coates and a portion of Lakeville.

Hall, the only Republican candidate who filed in the race, received 100 percent of Republican votes, with 1,937 votes.
