Video: Minnesota Senate Hears 'Right to Work' Amendment

Sen. Chris Gerlach (R-District 37), of Apple Valley, is an author of a different bill that also proposes asking voters to add an amendment to the state Constitution.

The Minnesota Senate Judiciary and Public Safety Committee is holding a hearing Monday on putting a proposed "Right to Work" constitutional amendment question on the ballot in November. The amendment would make joining a union and paying union dues optional.

State Sen. Chris Gerlach (R-District 37), who represents Apple Valley, Rosemount and part of Burnsville, is an author of a different bill that proposes to add the question to the general election ballot.
