Preview: City Council to Recognize RHS Swim Champs

Members of the Rosemount High School boys' swim team will be recognized Tuesday evening for their state championship performances last month.

The Rosemount City Council will recognize members of the boys' swim team for their performances during the Council's regularly-scheduled meeting Tuesday, April 3 at 7:30 p.m.

Braden McCormack, Jacob Stern, Luke Dowell and Conor Manning for state class AA meets in the 200-Yard Medley Relay. The four also earned All-State and All-American status.

Jacob Stern also took home top honors for his performance in the 100-yard breaststroke.

The City Council will recognize the swimmers for bringing "postive attention to their school and community" prior to other scheduled business.

Also on the agenda are three city ordinance discussions. Councilmembers will continue a discussion on large gathering regulations on public land as well as shade tree pest and control.

Changes regarding the use of coal tar-based sealer products in Rosemount is also scheduled for discussion.
