Green Business Workshop
The workshop will focus on internal green initiatives and staff green teams. A green team is a group of employees that develops green programs for their organization, raises sustainability awareness of employees, and facilitates the connection of green projects between departments. Once organized, this voluntary employee group is able to achieve sustainable change that is specific to their organization’s circumstances, because that change is coming from within. The program will feature a panel of business leaders who have implemented energy- and waste-reducing initiatives through their employee green teams. Attendees will get guidance on how your green team can be organized, and learn about common initiatives for newly-formed green teams. Additionally, local utility representatives and sustainability experts will be available to discuss the programs and assistance they offer for your organization.
