Rosemount Marching Band

The Rosemount Marching Band will be hosting its annual marching band festival and silent auction beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 at the Rosemount High School football field; gates open and silent auction bidding starts at 4 p.m.

This is the band's largest fundraiser of the year, and includes performances by 12 or more Midwest high school marching bands, as well as judging from officials on the national level. The event usually attracts about 4,000 people.

The silent auction will feature prizes from companies around the country, as well as local businesses. Prizes will range from trips to Twins Tickets to Oil Changes.The silent auction will be held outside of the gates, so anyone wishing to come bid on prizes will be able do throughout the show.

Tickets are $9 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens. Kids 5 and under are free.
