Selected RHS Band Members to Perform in U of M's High School Honor Band

11 students will perform with the University of Minnesota's High School Honor Band.

A hanful of RHS Band members were selected to perform in highly acclaimed and prestigious University of Minnesota High School Honor Band. 

Students selected were: 

Brandon Chapman – Oboe
Santiago Charry – Trumpet
Jessica Cox - Flute
Austin Gohman – Trombone
Jash Hugo – Euphonium
Andrew Johnson – Bass Trombone
Blake Kaner – Trombone
Brittany Majeski – Alto Saxophone
Kaitlyn Mann - Clarinet
Matthew Strom – Euphonium
Olivia Taylor – Clarinet

The U of M is recognizing these students as the finest high school instrumental musicians in the state of Minnesota. These students auditioned for this event, along with several hundred other high school students from throughout the state.

We are very proud of these students and this significant musical
accomplishment.

These students will participate in a weekend of music rehearsals, master-classes with U of M faculty, and present a concert Sunday, Jan. 29 at 1:30 p.m at the Ted Mann Concert Hall on the West Bank. Admission is free.
