The Eagles knocked off No. 10 Bloomington Jefferson in rematch of earlier game wiped out by a threatening storm.
The second time around was much sweeter for the Apple Valley girls lacrosse team.
In a replay of a game started Tuesday, then scrapped due to threatening weather, Appley Valley got the better of host Bloomington Jefferson, winning 9-7 Saturday.
Tenth-ranked Bloomington Jefferson was leading the Tuesday game 8-5 when it was called with 15:08 to play.

Apple Valley improved to 9-2 with the win and moved into second in the South Suburban Conference. The Eagles play at league-leading and fourth-ranked Bloomington Kennedy at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
