Eastview lost to No. 3 Shakopee (16-25, 22-25), beat Moorhead (23-25, 25-13, 15-13), lost to top-ranked Class 1A Bethlehem Academy (17-25, 23-25) and beat Hibbing (25-17, 25-11) to finish 11th in the tournament.
Eight of the top 10 ranked Class 3A teams participated in the tournament, along with Marshall, ranked No. 1 in Class 2A and Bethlehem Academy, ranked first in Class 1A.

Sixth-ranked Blaine swept Bloomington Jefferson (25-15, 25-18) to win the tournament championship. The Bengals had a stellar tournament with sweeps against No. 1 and No. 2 Bloomington Jefferson to capture the championship.
