As the marquee player on Minnesota's top-ranked Class 4A team, Jones has the Eagles (28-1) riding a 27-game winning streak into this week's boys basketball state tournament at Target Center. The point guard, a five-year varsity starter, is the Pioneer Press player of the year for the second consecutive season after averaging 21 points and more than seven assists per game.
