Leprechaun Days Medallion Hunt to Start July 23

A $500 prize will be offered to whoever finds the medallion.

This year’s Leprechaun’s Lost Medallion Hunt will return to its traditional start time on Monday of Rosemount Leprechaun Days, which runs from July 20-29.

The medallion hunt will start at 9 a.m. Monday, July 23, when the first clue is released on the front door of Sterling State Bank at the corner of County Road 42 and Diamond Path, on the Sun Thisweek newspaper website and on . Clues will be released at 9 a.m. each subsequent morning.

Sterling State Bank is offering a $500 cash prize to the winner.

The hunt has enough clues, in limerick format (a nod to Rosemount's Irish heritage), to have it run until the festival ends July 29.

Medallion-seekers should note that the medallion will blend in with its location, and will be hidden on city of Rosemount park property, easily reachable by all ages. Hunters won’t have to move, damage or destroy park property to find the medallion.

Official rules and a picture of the prize will be posted at clue central at online and on the front door of the bank.
