Your Complete Rosemount Leprechaun Days Activities List

Plan your Leprechaun Days fun with events from Friday through July 29.

The family-friendly fun of Rosemount Leprechaun Days kicks off Friday, and runs through July 29.

Favorite activities, like the bathtub races, parade, fireworks and Bluegrass Americana festival, are set, with a change or addition here and there, said committee President Laura Briggs.

The Celts beer garden in Central Park will be open on Thursday (July 26) this year, in addition to the following Friday and Saturday (July 27-28); Big Bob and the Highrollers will perform in the park that Thursday night. The beer garden is open to all, even kids, Briggs said, and wristbands will be provided to those permitted to drink alcohol.

The Rosemount Area Arts Council, which organizes the entire bluegrass festival, also has worked to make the first Saturday's events different and "bigger and better" than in other years, Briggs said, as well as more kid-friendly.

A food drive will also go on during various Leprechaun Days events, Briggs said, including at the parade. Food will go to 360 Communities and CAP Agency shelves.

While a 25-person, all-volunteer Leprechaun Days committee schedules the events, Leprechaun Days differs from many community festivals in that many of the activities are planned and executed by other businesses and organizations, Briggs said. There's also a lot of support from the city, she said.

Check out the attached list of all the activities and plan your festival fun for this year.
